Summer Reading Kick-Off (Kids)
Tuesday, June 30th
The first day of the Summer Reading Program is on Tuesday, June 30th, starting at 9:00 AM and running until 8:30 PM. Register in the Children’s Room. The first 100 kids to register will get an ice cream coupon thanks to Cherry Farm Creamery. Kids do NOT need to be from Danvers to register. It’s OK if you can’t come on June 30th! They have until Tuesday, July 14th to register.
Kids can read anything they like! They can read aloud or silently, listen to books read by a loved one, audiobooks, e-books, graphic novels, etc.
Preschool Age Kids
Ages 2 – 4
Once the Game Sheet is completed (meaning that you’ve read or been read to for 11 hours), you can choose an animal puppet to keep! The last day of the program is Saturday, August 15th.
Elementary School Age Kids
Ages 5 – Entering Grade 5
Choose how much time you’d like to read each week, then read anything you’d like! Keep track of your time on the Summer Reading Log. We recommend reading for at least 20 minutes per day (140 minutes per week). Did you meet your weekly Summer Reading goal? Report to the Children’s Room each week to show your log to the librarian and choose a prize from the Treasure Chest! Also, you’ll get to enter into a raffle for a chance at winning a bigger prize! At the end of the Summer Reading Program, the librarians will randomly choose one winner for each of the larger prizes.
The last day to report your reading is Saturday, August 15th . If you have read a MINIMUM of 16 hours, you’ll earn a Topsfield Fair Prize Pack. PLEASE NOTE: Topsfield Fair Prize Packs will be delivered to the library, so you will be notified via e-mail once they arrive. You can pick them up from the Children’s Room.

Teens & Adults
TEENS
Tweens & Teens entering grades 6 through 12 can sign up for summer reading and get a Summer Reading BINGO Card. Return the BINGO card to the library to be entered for a chance to win an Amazon Kindle Paperwhite. Writing book reviews and attending library programs will give you a chance to win other prizes throughout the summer!
Sign up starting June 30th and join us for a pizza party in the Teen Space from 2-4pm.

ADULTS
The Adult Summer Reading Challenge runs June 30th – August 15th for anyone ages 18 and up! Read a book, enter a raffle drawing! Enter as many times as you would like!
Every week you have a chance to receive gift cards from local businesses like the Texas Roadhouse, Northeast Arc’s gift shop parcels, Rebel Coffee and more! Every ticket will also be entered to win the Grand Prize Raffle Basket on August 15!
Anything else?
