Meetings

Meetings are open to the public and are usually held the third Wednesday of most months.  We welcome new members any time and encourage coming by to see what we are all about. Please check the Event Calendar for meeting times and location.

Highlights from the Friends Board of Directors Meeting, March 20, 2024

• Library staff will be recognized on April 8 during National Library Week.
• A presentation about Duke Ellington and the Harlem Renaissance will be given by jazz entertainer Nanette Perrotte on April 13. 
• The Friends Annual Meeting will be held Wednesday evening, May 15 followed by a talk by author Julia Fox-Garrison.
• The Annual Book Sale will be held June 12-15 with the preview night on June 11.
• The Glen Magna will be rescheduled to take place in September.
• There are eleven venues as part of the Museum Pass Program which can be found at https://www.danverslibrary.org/museum-passes/. There are also passes for MA Parks that can be found at the PIL in the “Library of Things”. The pass for the Boston Children’s Museum was renewed.
