Contemporary fiction not your thing? How about reading one book from 8 consecutive decades? It could be 1800-1880 or 1910-1990. Hey if you are into Shakespeare, you could try doing 1590-1660. Okay, so you don’t have the time or the desire to devote to some of these monster challenges. Becky from Becky’s Book Reviews is hosting two mini-challenges. First is the Jane Austen Mini-Challenge – read and/or watch two Austen books and/or movies. You can catch many of the movies on Masterpiece Theatre. The second is an inkling-related challenge. Read at least two books by or about C.S. Lewis and 2 books by or about J.R.R. Tolkien – movies are acceptable. Not so bad, huh?
