Monday is Labor Day, holiday is rooted in the late nineteenth century, when labor activists pushed for a federal holiday to recognize the many contributions workers have made to America’s strength, prosperity, and well-being. While the library will not be open on Labor Day, we did put together a list of books for all ages that celebrate the spirit and legacy of Labor Day.
