Against the backdrop of modern day native life mixed with the pull of high level hockey, this book will draw you in and shock and educate you.  Daunis is a complex character, standing between two worlds and trying to do the right thing for her people. While its edges are definitely dark, anyone who likes a good mystery/thriller will be kept glued to the pages.
